Last week, out of the blue…we were on a bit of a Bill Wither’s kick. Somehow his music seemed to temporarily soothe some of the ills of our present day society in the same way they helped decades ago. The melodies. The lyrics. The sound. The unpretentious delivery–all of what makes Bill…Bill captivated our ears for several days on end.
And now, this week remembering that today is his birthday makes our ears smile all the more! We have many a fave from this legend…way too many to name.
So we’ll keep it simple and say… Happy Birthday Mr. Withers! Until next time, -TL
