So I was sitting here doing a some work and got the strongest urge to listen to today’s SOTD. But the interesting thing about this song is…it’s been remade no less than 50 times since its original release in 1967. I guess that’s to be expected of a Burt Bacharach classic.
I would imagine you might ask what made me choose this version? Well, for some reason this one just stood out from the others. In comparison, it’s striking. It’s sultry. The instrumentation draws me in. And, I particularly like the vocalist and many of the other songs in his repertoire.
