Just poppin’ in to share a song that I’ve been hearing for the past couple of hours. I’m sure you’ll remember it once you hear it. From my recollection, it was a tune that got pretty decent airplay. In fact, it reached the number 8 spot on Billboard’s Single chart. I know you’re likely thinking “…1986, hmmmm? Wonder what she’s gonna pull out this time??” Well, keep reading!
This Grammy-winning artist comes from a family of six brothers, including himself. He is best known for his talents as a singer, songwriter, guitarist, keyboardist, producer…this list could go on. This particular song was featured on his SOLO debut album. Yes this artist was formerly a part of a group. A few groups to be exact.
Let’s cut to the chase. This artist has been responsible for putting some of the biggest names in the business on the map! His sound represents much of what was released/produced in the worlds of R&B and Pop during the 80s and 90s. Who am I talking about? None other than Kenneth “BABYFACE” Edmonds!
